After a little dip in walking mojo recently, this afternoon we headed out to hunt for the secret waterfall of Culnaskiach Falls and the Glaodhaich Trigpoint. I followed some simple directions I found online and used some navigation skills to get there, it definitely is not the easiest to get to or find. There is a faint path up to the falls, just now it’s a bog fest with recent water levels being in spate. Previous walkers have left faint tracks and the trail weaves over the river a few times, at one point I had to shimmy across a tree trunk on my butt and thought I was going to slide sideways into the water you have to love the teenager who films it! This waterfall is stunning, a quick scramble to it and an easier trek back to the car just as darkness fell. A great start to February, 6 miles and the first trig of the year too!
