Today was a first for me adventuring on public transport, we caught the train to Edinburgh and hiked up Blackford Hill and took in some of the Hermitage paths and bagged another Trigpoint with 360 views across Auld Reekie. We took the bus back into the city for a cheapish lunch at the Tron highly recommended if you are on a budget and another bus out to Leith to Mimi’s Bakehouse (I was slightly disappointed with the hype about this place). It was definitely time to burn off our food and wandered around Leith trying to find the murals, some of them are a little tired looking or have been removed or graffitied over, but we did get a cracking sunset to end our day!
