A mini road trip today to catch up with a friend in Fort William, we parked at the lower falls to make our walk longer and hiked up to Steall Falls through Nevis Gorge. It was quite busy and I left them to cross that scary wire bridge whilst I made a spur of the moment decision to just wade through the river to get to the falls, I’ll never cross that wire bridge as I’m a scaredy cat of stuff like that. It started to snow as we scrambled up to the falls and it felt great to be back out doing a proper wee hike albeit at a slower pace. I’ve definitely missed days like these! Just over 7 miles and a wee confidence boost to know that I can still get out there and do it, I’ll beat this anxiety one way or another! I’m looking forward to my steak and bath tonight!
