We walked from Spey Bay to Buckie (7miles) this afternoon following the Moray Coastal Trail. The ground conditions were not as bad as expected, a bit icy leaving Spey Bay and some swampy sections in the woods so we hopped over on to the golf course to detour. The highlight of the walk were the seals basking in the sun at the bay in Gollachy, I counted over fifty! I found this section more of a concrete stomp than coastal and was a little disappointed, however I have only one section to tick off until I’ve completed the Moray Coastal Trail!
