Dùn na Cuaiche and the Watchtower above Inveraray did not disappoint with views across Loch Fyne rolling into the horizon and Arrochar Alps boasting snowy tops. The walk was steady and steep with some dancing on ice on moments and bitterly cold so refreshments for the day after bumping into Renate Powell again and on her suggestion to go to Brambles, tea and sponge it was.
