The last day of my long weekend and another coastal walk in the rain. The elements have certainly tested us since last week and we are still smiling ‘just’. Stayed in Thurso last night after returning to the mainland from Orkney and walked out to Thurso Bay and the Castle. A lovely coastal walk albeit muddy, boggy and poopy in places a breeze compared to yesterdays gales. We missed out Harold’s Tower as my teen gave me the look of I’ve had enough and even I admit so had I. It’s been an amazing few days to recharge after being unwell and outdoors for me is definitely the best medicine.
