Today’s mini adventure was Ord Hill and the Trigpoint, I didn’t want to go far as I’m still quite poorly with both chest and ear infections and I’m quite upset I had to cancel my holidays to Oban and Iona, hey ho it happens and I’ve rescheduled to the Summer. Tough at times and I literally coughed all the way up. I needed the vitamin D and a wee bit of adventure to entertain my teenager. Lovely views across the water to both the Beauly and Moray Firths. We found the Trigpoint, another one bagged for us as I’ve missed it so many times up here previously.

On the way home I decided to bag another local Trigpoint at Newpoint of Leys which still had the OS plate still intact and to see this is rare these days as they are quite often stolen from trigpoints. I climbed over the gate ok but got stuck on the other side and just didn’t have the energy to get back over I finally made it out shimmying through a gap and my booty is not built to shimmy. Not the adventures I had planned, but as I say an adventure is always an adventure even a 4 mile one on your doorstep!
