A great group walk up to Càrn na h-Easgainn (Hill of the Eels) last night. For each of us it was our first bigger hill doing it in the evening and the first of many I’m sure. A nice sunny evening, we reached the Trigpoint and posed for some fun pictures on Emma’s camera and ventured to the shooting bothy for a quick look and tea. We all had our own personal goals last night each ticking them off and left each other at the end of the night with hugs, new friends made and a huge sense of achievement. And not every day you hike a wee Fiona after work, I constantly worry about my fitness and was quietly chuffed with how I managed and still managed it within Walk Highland times.
