Today we went off Trigpoint bagging on the Black Isle first stop was:

šŸ“ Muirends Trigpoint – A nice easy one in the fence line along the side of the road.

šŸ“ Mount Eagle – A nice 3 mile wander on forestry tracks and onto muddy and boggy vehicular tracks to a cairn and wood marker with a faint path leading to the Trigpoint, we were armed with secateurs after being forewarned from previous baggers of the gorse.

šŸ“ Kilcoy – This was the absolute Trigpoint from hell, we parked at Monadh Mor and headed up to the firebreak on the map and thought there was a faint path, how wrong were we. We persevered for 45 minutes with the map GPS dropping in and out in a 360 wall of gorse and dead bush. We eventually found it and started to head back with the heat and stifling air in the gorse, stress was an understatement! I needed to walk it out and finished the Monadh Mor loop getting back to the car in pitch black looking like something off I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here. 8 miles and 3 Trigpoints to kick off October!
