This has been on my list for a very long time and a perfect hike for a Winters day to break back into your hill fitness. We set off in snow flurries and cold butt cheeks at a slow and steady pace after a recent chest infection. I wheezed a bit, fell onto my chest a few times as I’ve since found the tread on my boots is knackered not ideal on a boggy hill! 4.5 miles with some of the best vistas Scotland has to offer, I’m back in my happy place. Finished with cake at the Ness Deli in Drumnadrochit.
