My usual loop at Dores Beach & Torr Woods today, 5k of ice, snow, slush and churned up track due to ongoing forestry works which made for hard going on a normally easy walk! Even when the weather abates I think these tracks will continue to be boggy due to the estate clearing the local environment of rhododendrons. I was the only crazy out walking and the only other company I had was the Nessie Hunter and the wintry smells of his wood burner which made me crave a bag of chips 
I listened to the waves, dodged a few more flurries and added a few more of natures’s hearts to my jar of hearts.
