Today we did the Helmsdale Explorer to finish off our weekend in Sutherland. This is a really lovely route along the harbour and part of the John O’Groats trail along the coast and up to Helmsdale Rock with views across the village and returning via the river.
It was absolutely roasting and I’m sunburnt again, I really must start wearing my bandannas! This was the perfect walk with a little bit of everything!
