Last nights walk out to Alturlie Point, we walked from Allanfearn out to Alturlie hoping to include the Trigpoint in our adventure too. This involved climbing fences, field hopping and a wall of steep gorse and mental silent swear words. We abandoned our explore of the Trig at this point as it was past sunset. On checking the map again on the way back to the car I spotted a path and took a chance it would lead up to the trig, the teen said no and I said aye, we legged it up in hast and hopped over a gate and across the field. Hidden away in gorse, we bagged the trig still intact with the OS plate too.
